AET Flexible Space leading manufacturer and supplier of Under Floor Air Conditioning (UfAC) systems originally supplied 1500 m2 of high specification Nesite Raised Access flooring over four floors at No. 1 Cavendish Place in 2001, in conjunction with AET Flexible Space air conditioning equipment. This year AET have re-supplied the same Oak finish factory bonded Nesite floor panels to refurbish one floor, and the supply and delivery of panels to a second floor is under way
A raised access floor is an essential part of an AET Flexible Space under floor HVAC system, which uses the plenum beneath the raised floor as the ventilation duct as well as housing normal cabling and IT services. This eliminates the need for ceiling based duct work, making it easy and economical to adapt to services changes in the workplace. The CAM or downflow unit treats and conditions air before it enters the plenum, and then it is introduced into the space via floor recessed fan terminal units, or Fantiles. Fantiles are easily relocated with standard 600 x 600mm floor tiles and also feature integrated controllers allowing users to personally adjust temperature and fan speed settings. The end result is a high quality adaptive indoor environment
AET Flexible Space have supplied Nesite raised access flooring to buildings for over twenty years as part of their Flexible Space concept, and one of the key features of Nesite flooring is the range of high specification panel finishes that the Italian based manufacturer are able to provide. No. 1 Cavendish Place in London is a prime example of how these finishes can be applied in a commercial environment to create a superb, high specification interior. The crisp clean interior finish at Cavendish Place created a modern stylish office environment after the original refurbishment in 2001, and the re-supply of the same 6mm factory bonded Oak finish floor panel demonstrates that the original interior specification was ideally suited to this prime London office accommodation, and still remains contemporary today.
Italian based manufacturer Nesite pride themselves on the quality and style of their raised flooring products. They have a robust and durable substructure and a wide range of standard and bespoke panel finishes compared with other available access floor products. Standard floor coverings include laminate, vinyl, linoleum rubber and carpet, and high class finishes can be made from wood, ceramic, marble, granite, glass, decorated steel or bespoke finishes to order
AET Flexible Space continue to supply Nesite raised flooring to accompany their plenum based air conditioning systems, but will also supply Nesite flooring independently on request. AET have more than twenty years experience of specifying and supplying Nesite raised floor systems, and with demonstrable knowledge of working with other raised floor equipment manufacturers, still maintain that the Nesite product is of superior quality and ideally suited to stylise grade A office accommodation
