2017 Refurbishment

Former site of East India Company warehouses.

Full refurbishment of the severely height restricted building located on a prominent corner position of Devonshire Square. Consultant Cundall specified underfloor air conditioning as a solution to enable the main office space to meet BCO floor to ceiling height standards. A system with high level return air was selected, primarily to enable greater future flexibility, but also to remove the need for zone barrier and air segregation baffle in the severely restricted underfloor plenum. Slimline TUS-EC Fantiles were selected as they are able to fit into a of minimum floor void depth of 180mm.

The refurbishment of this historic period building is described as a subtle blend of heritage features and contemporary finishes.
