2012 Refurbishment

This property occupies a prominent island site with outstanding views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The building was extensively redeveloped, stripped back to its original 1960’s shell and core, and re-cladded with floor to ceiling glazing. By incorporating underfloor air conditioning, instead of more traditional ceiling based systems, a floor to ceiling height of 2500 mm within an overall slab to soffit zone of 2800 mm was achieved. The air terminals installed were slimline fantiles incorporating EC Fan technology. The completed refurbishment created 40,000 sq ft of high specification office space which was fully let to a single occupier prior to practical completion.
